You can make up for your celebratory oversight by pointing your browser to ebay.Small wonder, if you missed Patriots Day last Saturdy. The 19 April ThreatWatch.org
post below suggests why this holiday has fallen out of favor nationally--except in Massachusetts and Maine.
George Bush's corporate-friendly, fascist White House certainly would be quick to label observance of Patriots Day--originating among a braver, more informed generation of Americans--as domestic "terrorism."
And we know what happens to "terrorists," right? They get to purchase their US military weaponry needs on
ebay.
As the late Russian-
cum-US comic Yakoff Smirnov would love to intone, "America...what a country!"

Patriots Day may be the least known American holiday, and the day most deserving of our recognition. Observed in Massachusetts and Maine only. Don't know it? It marks the day, April 19, 1775, on which Americans took up arms against their king, and bled, at the crack of terrible dawn.
Reacquaint yourself with history, recalling as you surrender 40% or more in various income taxes, that our fight for independence was begun over a 3% tax on tea.
