Rockefeller to Russo: 9/11, War on Terror Ploys for Elite Governance

In 2006, Hollywood producer Aaron Russo (photo, left), the recently- deceased director of the must- see documentary America: Freedom to Fascism, told radio host Alex Jones (watch interview below) how Nicholas Rockefeller (right) attempted to recruit him to join the 1921 Rockefeller-founded Council on Foreign Relations via pre-9/11 cryptic allusions to an impending "big event" to be followed by wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Nick Rockefeller's anticipated attack evokes earlier elite attempts to undermine U.S. democracy, to include Bush family scion Prescott's recently reported role in a 1933 attempted military coup against Franklin Roosevelt's presidency.

In July 1958, the prestigious U.S. magazine Harper's broke the story on the Council of Foreign Relations' secretive 37-year existence along with the elite organization's plans to undermine American democracy and that of other countries then seeking to join the post-World War II global movement toward governance by the majority.
The most powerful clique in these (CFR) groups have one objective in common: they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the U.S. They want to end national boundaries and racial and ethnic loyalties supposedly [to] increase business and ensure world peace.

What they strive for would inevitably lead to dictatorship and loss of freedoms by the people. [emphasis added] The CFR was founded for "the purpose of promoting disarmament and submergence of U.S. sovereignty and national independence into an all-powerful one-world government."
Professor Carroll Quigley, the eminent historian at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and well-traveled Pentagon and State Department consultant, apparently read that article before authoring his massive 1348-page tome that in part surveys social elites' control of the poor.

Quigley obtained a confidential dossier of files from elite Anglo-American interrelated "round table groups" that included the CFR. Based on these documents, Dr. Quigley wrote Hope and Tragedy: A History of the World in Our Time, a 1966 treatise "that is unique among...history books in its exposure of the role of International Banking cabal behind-the-scenes in world affairs." (1)

"The CFR is the American Branch of a society which originated in England," Quicley wrote, "and which believes that national boundaries should be obliterated, and a one-world rule." By 2006, the New York City-based CFR members numbered 4282: 1367 from Corporate America, 777 from higher education, 464 from the Bush administration and Congress (2), and 254 from media and news organizations.

In an interview with the Washington Post, Quigley suggested his revelations of the power elite's anti-democratic agenda occasioned them to suppress and destroy (see footnote 21.)

While Quigley theoretically supported the CFR's pacifist globalist philosophy, he opposed the covert strong-arm tactics used in implementing it. How would Quigley view the CFR's covert sponsorship of the North American Union? (3)

On 14 March 2005, the CFR released an overlooked report advocating the creation of an European- styled North American Union, a borderless politico- economic "community" joining the U.S. to Canada and Mexico. Nine days later, George Bush's Canadian and Mexican counterparts joined him in Waco, Texas, to unilaterally approve--without constitutionally- mandated congressional oversight--the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (www.spp.gov).

A plan Bush tasked to the U.S. Commerce Department with implementing, SPP currently is physically manifesting throughout America as a massive transcontinental "NAFTA" superhighway of intersecting toll ways and "commerce corridors." For example, numerous "stand alone" projects along Interstate 69 are linking the U.S. with Mexico and Canada.

By September 2006, just seven U.S. House members deigned to even symbolically oppose Bush's NAE's dictatorial end-run around congressional oversight. Virgil Goode (R-VA) and six Republican co-sponsors introduced the nonbinding House Concurrent Resolution 487, "Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Superhighway System or enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada."

In a apparent partisan maneuver, Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi failed to put the GOP-sponsored bill on the agenda of the Democrat-controlled 110th Congress convening last January.

CRF "Shaped" Electoral, Legislative and White House Coups

The cache of documents coming into Dr. Quigley's possession demonstrated that America's wealthiest citizens quietly had waged covert class warfare since the 19th century on average Americans, to include undermining the democratic impulses of our congressional representatives.

According to Quigley, the "chief problem of American political life" as seen by our minority power elite "has been"
how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.
Quigley concluded the CRF and its British counterpart "secretly controlled the U.S. and UK governments," further claiming "both the Republican and Democrat parties were controlled by an 'international Anglophile network' that shaped elections."

At least one former GOP senator publicly endorsed Quigley's viewpoint. In 1979, Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater, a 1964 presidential candidate, was so convinced that "elitist sentiments" were threatening the U.S. Congress that he did the unprecedented: he publicly named influential Democrats and Republicans he knew were CFR members.

Quigley and Goldwater's assessment goes a long way in explaining why Democrat House leaders, swept to power in November 2006 on a US-out-of-Iraq campaign mantra, pulled what Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) characterized as a "bait-and- switch" with its post-election endorsements of Bush's requests for additional war funding and troop deployments. Buried by U.S. mainstream news organizations, a U.S.-sponsored 30-year lease pending in the Iraqi parliament to give American oil companies (and here) most of Iraq's oil reserves could have something to do with the party's reversal on the war. One leftist political journal recently suggested the deal was linked to Rockefeller oil interests. (3)

Coopting state legislatures also is a revered project among America’s wealthy. (4) In his book American Rich (1930), Hoffman Nickerson, a confidant to Nick Rockefeller's billionaire great-grandfather John D. who joined J.P. Morgan in founding the CRF, argued for America's 18th-century parochial "Cult of Equality" to end. Convinced that America was destined for either a hereditary or elective monarchy, Nickerson claimed the country “should and will be led by a land-owning leisure class” that governed the masses through the guiding principle of “the divine right of landed aristocracy.”

Nickerson even suggested strategies for hastening monarchical rule by advocating that legislatures be “abolished or their bases and functions changed" (p. 259) to ensure "all pretense of an election dependent on popular will would have vanished" (ibid)--a plan he reported was well underway at the state level (5).
The first step toward complete monarchical (Presidential) initiative is the executive budget plan now prevailing in the Federal government and in thirty-four of the forty-eight states. Even the logical second step of limiting the constitutional powers of the legislative bodies has been taken in seven of the thirty-four, Maryland, West Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, California, Nebraska and Wisconsin. The rich therefore might do well to help forward such a development (p. 261)
During the 1930s, the American Rich successfully insulated themselves and their banking and money cons from legislative oversight. While publication of Nickerson's book coincided with "War Plan Red," a top secret military plan drafted for invading and annexing Canada, it was the patrician "class traitor" Franklin Roosevelt's 1932 election as president that most threatened their interests. Roosevelt populist agenda, which included terminating Wall Street's cherished gold standard and adopting his Depression-era New Deal agenda--convinced America's Very Wealthy that neutralizing his betrayal of their class interests necessitated more than Nickerson's gradualist legislative coup.

J.P. Morgan designated his wealthy Wall Street broker Grayson Murphy and Singer sewing machine heir Robert Sterling Clark to organize a military coup against Roosevelt. Two-time Medal of Honor recipient Marine Corps General Smedley Butler (right) was approached to recruit 500,000 WWI veterans and soldiers disenfranchised by Republican President Herbert Hoover to march on and capture the White House.

Refusing the assignment, Butler blew the whistle on its conspirators. In subsequent testimony before the U.S. House Committee on UnAmerican Activities, Butler reported heavy financial involvement by Wall Street financiers--the Rockefellers, Mellons, DuPonts, Morgans et.al--through the American Liberty League, an ad hoc “pro-business think-tank and ultra-right wing lobby group” created to abet the coup.

But the influential and guilty succeeded in having their names excised from the McCormack-Dickinson committee’s final 125-page report, a testament to their ability to hide their felonious treason by 1935--a time many of these very same Very Wealthy Few, believing Hitler and Mussolini's fascism was a solution to America's Great Depression, were heavily subsidizing Third Reich fascist businesses, to include a Bush family scion Prescott bank.

In July 2007, the British Broadcasting Corporation's award-winning radio investigative series Document presented archival evidence of the current Bush's grandfathers was involved in Roosevelt coup.
The coup was aimed at toppling President Franklin D Roosevelt with the help of half-a-million war veterans. The plotters, who were alleged to involve some of the most famous families in America, (owners of Heinz, Birds Eye, Goodtea, Maxwell Hse & George Bush’s Grandfather, Prescott) believed that their country should adopt the policies of Hitler and Mussolini to beat the great depression. Russo Reveals Rockefeller CFR Offer, 9/11 Plot

In January 2007, Hollywood producer Aaron Russo sat down with internet radio host Alex Jones to tell some difficult truths before dying of cancer later that year. Disclosing an initial friendship with Rockefeller family scion Nicholas, Russo said that relationship ended when he refused Rockefeller's offer to join the Council of Foreign Relations.

During one conversation, Rockefeller asked Russo if he was interested in joining the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) but Russo rejected the invitation, saying he had no interest in "enslaving the people" to which Rockefeller coldly questioned why he cared about the "serfs."

"I used to say to him what's the point of all this," states Russo, "you have all the money in the world you need, you have all the power you need, what's the point, what's the end goal?" to which Rockefeller replied (paraphrasing), "The end goal is to get everybody chipped, to control the whole society, to have the bankers and the elite people control the world."

The following clip is a 15-minute excerpt of a 70-minute interview Jones did with Russo.

Notes

1. See Quigley's obituary followed by links to selections of his scholarly work here. Echoing similar conspiratorial concerns, Quigley's 1947 book The Anglo-American Establishment (which American booksellers wouldn't publish until after his 1982 death) alleged that UK Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain staged a pre-Munich Pact crisis that "had secretly been prepared as early as 1937 by Great Britain politicians to give Germany and the Soviet Union a common border to eventually destroy the latter in a war between the two."

2. In 2005, columnist and 9/11 researcher Devvy Kidd named several Bush administration officials--GOP congressional heavyweights and former Democrat presidents included--as CFR members:
Who are some of the past and present members of this anti-American operation? Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfeld, Porter Goss, Alan Greenspan, John Bolton, Paul Wolfowitz, Gen. Richard B. Myers, Henry Hyde, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Bush Sr., Sandra Day O'Connor, George Soros, Christopher Dodd, Diane Feinstein, Gerald Ford, Bill Frist, Newt Gingrich, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Katherine Harris, Teresa Heinz [Senator John Kerry's wife] , Antonia Hernandez – President of Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Gen. John P. Jumper – current Air Force chief of staff, Joseph Lieberman, John McCain, Rupert Murdock, David Rockefeller, Diane Sawyer and Tony Snow."
Though dated, this alphabeticalized membership listing cites 4426 past and present CFR members, among them pollster James Zogby; Senator John Kerry; journalists George F. Will, Bob Woodward, George Stephanopoulous, Tom Brokaw (a CRF director), PBS's Charlayne Hunter-Gault and Jim Lehrer; and 9/11 Commission co-chairs Thomas Keane and Lee Hamilton.

While CNN corporate headquarters apparently forbids its U.S. network anchors and reporters to inform Americans about elite groups like the secretive Bilderbergs also advocating a one-world government, CNN International is allowed to do so.

3. Dr. Antony Sutton, a Stanford academic who said his colleagues had "sold their souls for Rockefeller Foundation money," reported the American Rich's anti-democratic tendencies first became publicly evident in 1916 when Wall Street funded the Bolshevik Revolution that evolved into arch US enemy the Soviet Union.

4. Investigative reporter Greg Palast reported in December 2003 on US elites' pre-invasion plans for slicing up Iraq's spoils. In an interesting twist, Senator John ("Jay") D. Rockefeller IV (D-WV) recently alleged fellow CFRer "Vice President Dick Cheney applied applied 'constant' pressure... to drag out" the second phrase of the Senate Intelligence Committee's probe into manipulated pre-Iraq war intelligence. On 8 February 2007 Senator Carl Levin released a declassified executive summary of a long awaited report from the Defense Department's Office of Inspector General that concluded DoD Undersecretary of Defense Policy Douglas Feith establish a "shop" in the Pentagon "to lay the groundwork for a pre-emptive military strike against Iraq" using handpicked information contested by all other U.S. intelligence agencies.

5. Since 1973, the American Legislative Exchange Council (www.alec.org)--which "connects corporations to state legislatures via conferences and forums"-- has funneled funds from America's best-born into state legislatures to curry favorable elections and policies. Old Wine, Newer Bottle: Socialism's New World Order Resembles Neo-Fascist Version

With a symbolic nod to political "fairness" (whatever that term might mean in the 21st century), I've appended below Dr. Dennis L. Cuddy's 20th-century chronology of evolving "new world order" developments from a leftist/socialist perspective.

Since most of us are too well-versed in the Bush-Cheney neo-fascist world order, a fresh approach to global collectivism is most welcomed.

But, hey, what'da ya know, the two human colonizing perspectives are--to paraphrase former George Washington University history professor and State Department consultant Carroll Quigley--fundamentally identical.

Cuddy regularly writes commentary for NewsWithViews. com. In a 17 December 2007 NWV column, he situated the emerging North American Union in "the larger plan" for a new world order.

Obama 's New Hampshire Smackdown Officially Launches Operation Stolen Ballot 2008

In their book Over the Edge (2004) authors Michael Fry and T. Lewis wrote "The more things change, the more they remain... insane." But when it comes to electronic voting in New Hampshire's recent Democrat primary, Blackbox Voting activists Bev Harris and Susan Pynchon have the video tape proving it.

Though he failed to cite Ohio's 2004 presidential ballot debacle as supporting evidence for his book's thesis, the electoral hypocrisy in the state certainly qualifies for what Pulitzer-Prize winning Boston Globe journalist Charlie Savage recently characterized as the Bush-Cheney imperial "takeover" of U.S. democracy.

In Savage's well-received book, the Harvard-Yale grad prefers to assume the Bush-Cheney presidency (with Cheney as the alpha male) haven't engaged in electronic ballot theft, that their politicization of Justice Department appointments to instead skew prosecutions toward nonexistent "voter fraud," i.e., Democrats sporting fake IDs to wreak havoc on America's voting process, has no place in their subversion of democracy.

No, in Charlie's privileged worldview prepackaged for him at the nation's elite universities, the paradigm directing his writing assumes that honorable Yalies like Bush and Cheney are above that sort of plebeian decorum--facts to the contrary be damned.

Consider: While exit polls in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania in November 2004 indicated voters significantly favored Democrat challenger Senator John Kerry over George W. Bush in November 2004, ballots counted by GOP-owned electronic voting machines (with Diebold the principal offender) giving Bush a second presidency were allowed to stand, though MIT and Cal Tech mathematicians demonstrated the historically unprecedented disparity between exist polls and final vote counts resulted from ballot manipulation.

Then three weeks later when exit polls similarly favored a Ukraine presidential candidate defeated at the ballot box, the Bush-Cheney White House finally insisted Ukrainian officials perform the recount denied in America.

Oh, well; those pivotal 2004 ballot results in Ohio appear well-founded on post-9/11 Bushista logic making Amerikan democracy the envy of al-Qaeda terrorists the world over.

"They're here!": Electronic Ballot Fraud Redux (2008 version)

In May 2007, intrepid journalist and bestselling author Greg Palast--an American whose reportage on Bush-Cheney electoral fraud since 2000* (and here) has US mainstream news editors cowering before the office water cooler--warned us the GOP "may already have stolen the 2008 election."

Nowhere was Palast's electoral caveat more apparent than during New Hampshire's January 8 Democrat presidential popularity contest. Having been too busy at work--and distrusting of the US electoral process generally-- I overlooked blog coverage of the snafu there regarding vote tallies for Clinton and Obama.

Since mainstream U.S. media long ago opted out on covering democracy's theft at the electronic ballot box, let's watch this 3-minute Russia Today news video report.

Two days after the primaries gave Hillary Clinton a dubious win over Obama, Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich, a 2008 Democrat presidential hopeful (who UK wire service Reuters reported 24 January was withdrawing from the campaign) asked state election officials for a "recount" because voting irregularities demanded it:
In a letter dated Thursday, Kucinich said he does not expect significant changes in his vote total, but wants assurance that "100 percent of the voters had 100 percent of their votes counted."

Kucinich alluded to online reports alleging disparities around the state between hand-counted ballots, which tended to favor Sen. Barack Obama, and machine-counted ones that tended to favor Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. He also noted the difference between pre-election polls, which indicated Obama would win, and Clinton's triumph by a 39 percent to 37 percent margin.

Candidates who lose by 3 percentage or less are entitled to a recount for a $2,000 fee. Candidates who lose by more must pay for the full cost. Kucinich's campaign said it was sending the $2,000 fee to start the recount.
Kuncinich's campaign sent the required payment for the recount indeed happened. But according to election fairness activists Bev Harris and Susan Pynchon at Blackbox Voting, who video taped state election officials' security protocols for handling the ballots, the process is nothing more than a "sham."

If you watch the two ballot sleuths' six-minute clip below spotlighting the laughable responses of ballot thieves "Hoppy" and "Butch,"I believe you must conclude that an excellent opportunity existed for some overnight ballot tampering.

So, my freedom-loving Americans, here's the best voting advice you'll get in 2008: Vote early and vote often. With U.S. democracy once again up for grabs, you can't trust the myriad teams of Hoppy and Butch wannabes around the U.S. to protect your vote.

*Related: Today (Saturday, 26 January), Greg Palast speaks at UCLA to continue ongoing efforts to help Americans comprehend how compromised their national elections are. With the California primaries in ten days, Palast is a guest of the African-American Studies Department, speaking at 10:30 AM "on the latest attacks on voting rights," particularly minorities; he also is scheduled to convene a distinguished panel at 3:30 PM.

Palast's 2000 award-winning BBC and London Guardian new scoops on then-Florida governor Jeb Bush's efforts after 1998 to illegally scrub 90,000 African-Americans--90% who nationally voted for Democrat presidential candidate Al Gore--from the registry in a state where Bush's 537 vote-lead occasioned the U.S. Supreme Court to halt a mandatory recount to give the White House to Republicans was critical evidence in settling a 2002 class- action suit in favor of African-American plaintiffs who claimed voter disenfranchisement by Florida election officials.

According to the 4 September 2002 Washington Post ("Settlement Reached in Fla. Election Suit," archived here), ChoicePoint, a Georgia-based data vendor contracted by then-Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris for $4 million to undertake the voter registry scrub, and Florida officials conceded and quietly settled out of court with ACLU and NAACP attorneys who represented the disenfranchised Florida voters.

Translation: Media silence on the settlement abetted Bush and Cheney to get away with an electoral takeover.

Tazer U: Post-9/11 Higher Education Pacificiation Program

America's most politically-correct dissidents, holed up from the fascist storm in the Ivy Tower, have never shown more moral cowardice as when confronted by the White House's "seven-step" higher ed pacification program.

Recent Harvard graduate Michael Gould-Wartofsky's column "Repress U", appearing in The Nation's 28 January (Monday) issue, is in part excerpted below.
Free-speech zones. Taser guns*. Hidden cameras. Data mining. A new security curriculum. Private security contractors. Welcome to the homeland security campus.

From Harvard to UCLA, the ivory tower is fast becoming the latest watchtower in Fortress America. The terror warriors, having turned their attention to "violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism prevention"--as it was recently dubbed in a House of Representatives bill of the same name--have set out to reconquer that traditional hotbed of radicalization, the university.

Building a homeland security campus and bringing the university to heel is a seven-step mission:

1. Target dissidents. As the warfare state has triggered dissent, the campus has attracted increasing scrutiny--with student protesters in the cross hairs. The government's number-one target? Peace and justice organizations.

From 2003 to 2007 an unknown number of them made it into the Pentagon's Threat and Local Observation Notice system (TALON), a secretive domestic spying program ostensibly designed to track direct "potential terrorist threats" to the Defense Department itself. In 2006 the ACLU uncovered, via Freedom of Information Act requests, at least 186 specific TALON reports on "anti-military protests" in the United States--some listed as "credible threats"--from student groups at the University of California, Santa Cruz; State University of New York, Albany; Georgia State University; and New Mexico State University, among other campuses.

At more than a dozen universities and colleges, police officers now double as full-time FBI agents, and according to the Campus Law Enforcement Journal, they serve on many of the nation's 100 Joint Terrorism Task Forces. These dual-purpose officer-agents have knocked on student activists' doors from North Carolina State to the University of Colorado and, in one case, interrogated an Iraqi-born professor at the University of Massachusetts about his antiwar views.

FBI agents, or their campus stand-ins, don't have to do all the work. Administrators often do it for them, setting up "free-speech zones," which actually constrain speech, and punishing those who step outside them. Protests were typically forced into "free-assembly areas" at the University of Central Florida and Clemson University, while students at Hampton and Pace universities faced expulsion for handing out antiwar fliers, aka "unauthorized materials."... read more

Big Dick's "Down Under" Sheep Humor

A dear friend forwarded me a blueish pastoral joke, posted below, indicating the bawdy humor's origin as New Zealand.

But I have it on unimpeachable authority that Dick Cheney's Wyoming sheep ranch (where he and his paler doppleganger regularly stalk two- and four-legged prey in sheep disguise, right) is the real venue where a sex crime was committed.

Completely lacking in any redeeming social taste, the joke nonetheless is an apt metaphor for the famously repressed neoconic proclivity for sexual tawdriness that bleatingly skips and leaps well beyond Christendom's criminal code for the salacious and perverse.

Literary evidence supporting the view that Big Dick's Wyoming sheep ranch is the venue is plentiful and beyond the circumstantial; it ranges from wife's Dr. Lynn Cheney's--who holds a Ph.D. in 19th-century Victorian literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison--illicit sexual fantasies sublimated into a turgid 177-page novel of upper-crust Sapphic love on Wyoming's 1870s open range (online here) to the VP's indicted former Chief of Staff Scooter Libby, pardoned (or soon to be) for outing CIA covert operative Valerie Plame, whose 1996 novel The Apprentice chronicles a virgin's frothy descent into bestiality and pedophilia.

Then there is Dick's own alleged preference for stalking humans with rifles at his Greybull, Wyoming hunting lodge after indulging his fill of buggering young boys and girls, just some of the executive tastes that Brice Taylor chronicles--to date, lawsuit-free--in her 1995 bestselling cult classic book Trance: Formation of America on CIA MK-ULTRA mind control technologies for "sheep dipping" those unfleeced virgins of the American flock who can't--or won't--believe such official practices exist. (Cheney's alleged "oversized penis" makes a gleeful appearance on page 101 of Brice's book, fully accessible here.)

Literary smoke apparently precedes GOP sexual fire.

But, honestly folks, my favorite piece--no pun intended--of evidence indicative of more run-of-the-mill GOP perversion of "family values" is this one:

* Mike Hintz, a First Assembly of God youth pastor, introduced by Bush on the campaign trail, and promoted his policies.[55] Says he supports Bush's values. Two months later, this married father of four turned himself into police, charged with the sexual exploitation of a child. [56][57]

Need I worry about being tasteless? I think not. But for a fuller list--with a bipartisan leaning--of what Washington's tastes incline toward on "family values," check here or here.

There was a Man from Auckland...(read "Greybull")

So here's the sheep joke:
A guy with land near Auckland buys several sheep, hoping to breed them for wool.

After several weeks, he notices that none of the sheep are getting pregnant, and phones a vet for help.

The vet tells him that he should try artificial insemination.

The farmer doesn't have the slightest idea what this means but, not wanting to display his ignorance, asks the vet how he will know when the sheep are pregnant.

The vet tells him that they will stop standing around and instead will lie down and wallow in grass when they are pregnant.

The man hangs up and gives it some thought. He comes to the conclusion that artificial insemination means he has to impregnate the sheep himself.

So, he loads the sheep into his Land Rover, drives them out into the woods, has sex with them all, brings them back, and goes to bed.

Next morning, he wakes and looks out at the sheep. Seeing that they are all still standing around, he deduces that the first try didn't take, and loads them in the Land Rover again.

He drives them out to the woods, bangs each sheep twice for good measure, brings them back, and goes to bed exhausted.

Next morning, he wakes to find the sheep still just standing round.

"Try again." he tells himself, and proceeds to load them up, and drive them out to the woods He spends all day shagging the sheep and upon returning home, falls knackered into bed.

The next morning, he cannot even raise himself from the bed to look out of the window. He asks his wife to look, and tell him if the sheep are lying in the grass.

"No," she says, "but they're all in the Land Rover, and one of them is beeping the horn."

Canadian Bushwhack: Ottawa Adds USA to Torture Watchlist, Vowing No Action

Canadian humanitarian law hasn't yet responded to a recent racist U.S. federal court ruling effectively nullifying a half-century fiat that extended the same protections under the law for non-whites enjoyed by white Europeans. But as the world's leading "hypocrisy democracy," the U.S. is the foremost sponsor of the kind of global terrorism a District of Columbia federal court ruling recently censured.

Last Wednesday (16 January), CTV, Canada's largest private television broadcaster, broke a story that many Canadians apparently found shocking.

Foreign Ministry officials in Ottawa obtained--then mistakenly released in court-- unredacted documents confirming that a Canadian youth has been tortured at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, since his capture five years ago in 2002.

The new evidence counters Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper's claim that Omar Khadr, a 15-year-0ld at the time of his capture, was "receiving fair treatment" from the U.S. Khadr, now 21, is still awaiting trial for allegedly killing a U.S. soldier during fighting in Afghanistan.

William Kuebler, Khadr's American military lawyer at Guantanamo Bay, confirmed the documented evidence for CTV.

"Omar has certainly been abused, his rights have been violated under international law, and apparently the Canadian government has reason to believe that's true, and yet, they've acted not at all to assist him," Kuebler noted.

On Thursday The Globe and Mail, Canada's most widely circulated newspaper, followed up on CTV's breaking story with this additional revelation: "Foreign Affairs has put Guantanamo Bay on a watch list for torture, despite Ottawa's assertions that it will not intervene with claims that Omar Khadr has been abused while in detention."

According to the 17 January "breaking news" section of Citizens for Legitimate Government, a blog commencing publication with allegations that Bush and Cheney were illegally appointed to the White House by the William Rehnquist-headed U.S. Supreme Court in December 2000, the new evidence of Khadr's torture promoted Canada to put the U.S. on a short list of Thirdworld guiding light democracies that officially practice torture: "Syria, Iran, China, Afghanistan,...Guantanamo Bay." Israel also made the list.

But on 11 January, a U.S. federal court applied some additional slippery legal reasoning to make a startling ruling on a lawsuit by four Brits who claim they were tortured while incarcerated at the U.S. military prison in Cuba. In a little-reported story, Presscue Wire Services confirmed that the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled that since "terrorists" aren't fully "humans," they have no valid standing before U.S. law.
On the sixth anniversary of the imprisonment of detainees at the Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, a United States judge threw out lawsuit brought by four former British detainees against Donald Rumsfeld and senior military officers for ordering torture and religious abuse, ruling that the detainees are not "Persons" under U.S. Law, which according to another judge, means that they are less than "human beings".

In a 43-page opinion, Circuit Judge Karen Lecraft Henderson found that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, a statute that applies by its terms to all “persons” did not apply to detainees at Guantánamo, effectively ruling that the detainees are not persons at all for purposes of U.S. law.

The Court also dismissed the detainees’ claims under the Alien Tort Statute and the Geneva Conventions, finding defendants immune on the basis that “torture is a foreseeable consequence of the military’s detention of suspected enemy combatants,” and ruled that even if torture and religious abuse were illegal, defendants were immune under the Constitution because they could not have reasonably known that detainees at Guantánamo had any constitutional rights.

The court ruling effectively reversed Pope Paul III's 1537 Papal Bull that decreed "indigenous people of America"--Native Americans then living near present day Cuba-- "to be rational beings with souls." Intended to reverse two earlier papal rulings justifying New World slavery and colonialization, the Pope's ruling condemned the Spanish practice of enslaving the Indians, making "it null and void for as well as for any people known or that could be discovered in the future, entitles their right to liberty and property, and concludes with a call for their evangelization."

So, if you suspected something villainously medieval reeked from the Bush-Cheney White House's commitment to fundamentalist religion, you now have confirming evidence.

U.S. Torture (& Hypocrisy) Is Nothing New, Canada

Contrary to public opinion, the US torture scandals at Guatanamo Bay and Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison--and around the world, for that matter--aren't part of the inspiration of evil emanating from the Bush-Cheney White House. According to one American historian, the practice's been quietly honed and evolving under the CIA's nurturing sponsorship since World War II.

In February 2006, Alfred McCoy, a University of Wisconsin-Madison professor emeritus of Southeast Asian history, told Democracy Now! radio's Amy Goodman that the CIA began refining the craft of torture shortly after the Agency's creation in 1947.
The International Committee of the Red Cross, Amnesty International and other human rights groups say the recently released images of abuse of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib show a clear violation of international humanitarian law. The U.S. made a pledge against torture when Congress ratified the UN Convention Against Torture in 1994–but it was ratified with reservations that exempted the CIA’s psychological torture method. So what were the results?

A new expose gives an account of the CIA’s secret efforts to develop new forms of torture spanning fifty years. It reveals how the CIA perfected its methods, distributing them across the world from Vietnam to Iran to Central America, uncovering the roots of the Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo torture scandals. The book is titled “A Question of Torture: CIA Interrogation, From the Cold War to the War on Terror.”.... (Read, listen to or watch more here.)
In 1972, the CIA attempted to squash publication of McCoy's provocative first book The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade; the study chronicles the Agency's growing cooperation with organized crime, terrorist groups and drug smugglers in cornering the global heroin market first centered in France and, after President Richard Nixon initiated the "war on drugs" in 1971, in Indochina's Golden Triangle.

But torture and drug-running is but part of the complete accoutrement of US-backed covert ops prompting internationally renowned social critic Noam Chomsky (photo, 2004) to designate Amerika as the world's foremost backer of state-sponsored terrorism ("the way to get 'them' to stop attacking 'us' is stop attacking 'them'").

On 21 September 1996, Washington Post staff writer Dana Priest found evidence oozing from red George clay at the infamous Ft. Benning's terrorist training facility that bolster Chomsky's seemingly irresponsibile assessment. The Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist obtained classified documents--including U.S. Army torture training manuals-- from a 1992 congressional hearing into terrorist training, paid for by U.S. tax dollars, taught to mostly Latin American "law enforcement" officers at Army facility's "School of the Americas."

With McCoy's scholarly book on CIA torture still a decade away, Priest blithely printed the spin palmed off by Pentagon officials claiming the program originated in 1982 rather than 1947-1948 as reported by the historian.

SOA subsequently became "Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation" (WHISC) to assist resident terrorists employed, billeted and taught there to feel a little better about themselves when they returned home to practice their after-hours community service work.

But since Americans now teaching at SOA/WHISC only incite others to terrorism rather than actually engage in it, they--in the twisted legal logic extant in DC--must still have protection as official "humans" under U.S. law, right?

Canada Places U.S.A. on Torture Watch List Dominated by 3rd World Dictatorships

Canadian humanitarian law hans't kept pace with a U.S. federal court finding that "terrorists" aren't human and have no legal standing within the U.S. legal system.

Last night, (Wednesday, 16 January), CTV, Canada's largest private television broadcaster, broke an story that, apparently, many Canadians found shocking.

Foreign Ministry officials in Ottawa obtained--then mistakenly released in court-- unredacted documents confirming that a Canadian youth has been tortured at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, since his capture five years ago in 2002.

The new evidence counters claims by Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper that Omar Khadr, a 15-year-0ld at the time of his capture, was "receiving fair treatment" from the U.S. Khadr, now 21, is still awaiting trials for allegedly killing a U.S. soldier during fighting in Afghanistan.

William Kuebler, Khadr's U.S. military lawyer at Guantanamo Bay, confirmed the documented evidence for CTV.

"Omar has certainly been abused, his rights have been violated under international law, and apparently the Canadian government has reason to believe that's true, and yet, they've acted not at all to assist him," Kuebler noted.

This morning, The Globe and Mail, Canada's most widely circulated national newspaper, followed up on CTV's breaking story with this revelation: "Foreign Affairs has put Guantanamo Bay on a watch list for torture, despite Ottawa's assertions that it will not intervene with claims that Omar Khadr has been abused while in detention."

According to the 17 January "breaking news" section at Citizens for Legitimate Government, a left-leaning daily blog that claims Bush and Cheney were illegally appointed to the White House in December 2000 by then William Rhenquist-headed U.S. Supreme Court, the evidence of torture occasioned Canada to put the U.S. on a short list of third world democractic guiding lights that practice torture: "Syria, Iran, China, Afghanistan...Guantanamo Bay." Israel also made the Canadian list.

Of course, U.S. officials are nonplussed by the dubious distinction, but haven't issued a formal statement.

When they do, will they cite a recent court decision that legal undermines the Canadian condemnation. On 11 January, Presscue Wire Services reported that the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit denied plaintiffs claims that they were tortured while in U.S. custody at Guantanamo Bay, a decision predicated on the finding they are "human" and, hence, have no claim to U.S. legal protection.

Any questions, my fellow sub-human dissidents?

Update on MK-ULTRA: 1963 CIA Inspector General Report Remains Classified

In October 2006, Milkhouse Mouse sought to historically contextualize Florida Rep. Mark Foley's buggering of underaged male pages on Capitol Hill.

"DC Trouser Treats" revealed the sordid underbelly of officially exploited children officially commencing in 1953 when Republican President Dwight Eisenhower's newly-minted CIA director Allen Dulles launched his top secret MK-ULTRA Project (page right; see online clache of declassified documents here.)

Again, consider the discreet work of one Utah psychologist with clients subjected to MK-ULTRA experimentation and ritual abuse:
By using hypnosis, University of Utah staff psychologist D.Corydon Hammond was the first to uncover (and share with colleagues) a sinister "programming" pattern in numerous disassociative- disordered adults he attributed to childhood ritual abuse. In a presentation “at the Fourth Annual Eastern Regional Conference on Abuse and Multiple Personality, Thursday June 25, 1992, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel, Mark Center, Alexandria, Virginia,” now famously called the “Greenbaum Speech,” Hammond defied "death threats" to inform colleagues of his successes with government-brainwashed MPDs, which he estimated constitute 50-75% of those diagnosed with the malady.
Recently, I stumbled upon a 1994 reference to MK-ULTRA that prompted my contacting the National Security Archives headquartered at Georgetown University in D.C.

"...a 1963 CIA Inspector General's (IG) report on Project MKULTRA...itself is still classified." (1)

An staffer on the Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments wrote that on June 27, 1994. Does the IG report remain classified? Aren't we well beyond the requisite years for that document's FOIA release?

Here's a fuller passage:

"...The possibility that CIA itself engaged in human radiation experiments emanates from references in a 1963 CIA Inspector General's (IG) report on Project MKULTRA, which was a program "concerned with research and development of chemical, biological, and radiological materials capable of employment in clandestine operations to control human behavior." The IG report apparently quotes from MKULTRA implementing documents that "additional avenues to the control of human behavior" were to include "radiation, electroshock, various fields of psychology, sociology, and anthropology, graphology, harassment substances, and paramilitary devices and materials."2{2 The IG report itself is still classified."
1. http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/radiation/dir/mstreet/commeet/meet4/brief4.gfr/tab_j/br4j1.txt
The shelf life of classified documents is roughly 25 years, barring additional considerations--such as the commission of crimes against humanity in this instance.

At the url above, you find this beguiling passage regarding a disparity in that 1963 IG report that raises questions about its validity:
The 1963 IG report states that the MKULTRA testing programs were "conducted under accepted scientific procedures...where health permits, test subjects are voluntary participants in the programs." Church Committee, Book I, at 422 (quoting IG report). However, the Church Committee noted that "[t]his was clearly not true in the project involving the surreptitious administration of LSD, which was marked by a complete lack of screening, medical supervision, opportunity to observe, or medical or psychological follow-up. The intelligence agencies allowed individual researchers to design their project. Experiments sponsored by these researchers...call into question the decision by the agencies not to fix guidelines for the experiments." Id.
In any event, here's the response I received yesterday (15 January) from the National Archives to my December email:

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

I consulted with our expert on the CIA, who is Dr. John Prados, about the 1963
CIA Inspector General's report on MKULTRA. I told him that I had seen references and quotes from this IG report in some Congressional Hearings, but I could not find the full report anywhere.

Dr. Prados said that this report was requested by us under the Freedom of Information Act in 1997 but we are still waiting to receive it. As you may already know, it took almost 15 years for the CIA to release the "Family Jewels" documents that we requested and finally received in late June 2007.

Thank you for your interest in the work and collections of the National Security
Archive, and thank you for your patience in waiting for a reply.

Prez Bush with Sidekicks Dick & Dems: Lying "Imps" with a Mental Limp

So what should we do about the imp
Who sucks the juice from every--peach

that's growing on our cultivated--Bush?

...(Now in rounds:... Imp-peach-Bush, Imp-peach-Bush
--
and Cheney, too. ---"The Imp Song"

The gentle back-to-the-landers featured below in the 80-second clip-- convening their sing-around somewhere on home ground yet forfeited to Bush's Orwellian 2006 revamped eminent domain executive order--offer YouTube viewers a witty ditty for warding off post-9/11 neoconic voodoo.

Since we're on the topic of organized populist protest--as opposed to bogus corporate "protest"-- in favor of impeachment, let's roll, shall we?

The following 7-minute composite MSNBC/Olbermann and Fox News segment--replete with cheap Fox character attacks passing for "journalism"--is a dated, but nonetheless demonstrates that House Demon-crat leadership--specifically, neo-neoconic Steney Hoyer--nixed a Cheney impeachment bill drafted by Ohio Democrat Dennis Kucinich*.

You may recall it was Kucinich who in December 2006 blew the whistle on his party's leadership--Hoyer, Nancy Pelosi, Silvestre Reyes, John Conyers, David Obey et al.--for a classic "bait-and-switch" on a 2006 congressional campaign promise that Democrats would offer America an alternative to the Bush-Cheney White House's manufactured war in Iraq.

No such luck: Even before they gaveled the 110th Congress to order in January 2007, Dem House leaders instructed their flock--where is Rep. Cynthia McKinney when you need her?-- to supporting war funding in Iraq and Afghanistan. Denied for 12 years during their House minorityship from cashing in on pork barrel earmarks, Dems heartily compiled, cashing in with $21.3 billion --with the Dem-led Senate nine months completing the heist-- pilfered from the U.S. Treasury by earmarking pet projects from family and friends back home above what the White House sought.

Blatant circus, in-your-face; no shame, no? In any event, here's Olberman pillorying Dem "leaders" for fumbling Kucinich's Cheney impeachment bill, followed by two minutes from the psy-ops crew over at Fox.

Let me conclude with this 4-minute shellacking of the moribund Democrat congress delivered a week ago by CNN resident curmudgeon Jack Cafferty. Look closely and see resident CNN lackey Wolf Blitzer hardly manage the requisite amount of politically-correct tolerance from another broadside from ol' Smack-em Jack.

Thank you for your service to America, Jack. Love ya, guy.

Let me conclude this entry with this spot-on quote from lying imp Bill Clinton's Georgetown University history professor Carroll Quigley:
[T]he two parties should be almost identical, so that the American...people can “throw the rascals out” at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. --Georgetown University historian and U.S. State Department consultant Carroll Quigley, in his 1966 book Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time, on the U.S.power elite's manipulation of America's pseudo-two party system in forwarding its globalist agenda
So, my fellow Americans, all together now: Let's suck that peach from the bush and "Impeach Bush." Any questions?

*Related: As if network TV constant denigrating him with such labels as "moonbeam," "vegan" and "UFO" weren't sufficient to invalidate his public legitimacy as a presidential candidate, NBC had filed suit to prevent Kuncinich's participation in the upcoming Nevada debates.

But yesterday (14 January), a Nevada court ruled that Kuncinich will be able to inject some left-of-center thoughts into the scripted debate. See AP article "Judge Grants Kucinich Entry to NV Debate."

Let me thank NBC's parent company, giant defense contractor General Electric--which has dropped its longtime corporate motto of "We bring good things to life."-- for its heartfelt effort to insulate my fragile psyche from all that rapid anti-war delirium Kucinich is spreading across the American Fruited Plane.
